anyway!
If phone calls and/or emails have not solved the problem then we are happy to visit
you. It is often easier to get to the root of a problem by being able to examine
your PC.
Common Misconceptions Explained:
What is meant by the ‘memory’ in a computer?
The memory is the working space for the computer - equivalent to the space on the
desk you work on. Too small a desk and work becomes very difficult and slow because
you have to keep moving things off your desk to get any space to work.
The hard disk is equivalent to a library. The hard disk holds the operating system,
your programs and your data. The computer copies what you need from the hard disk
to the memory.
Not surprisingly, too little working space (memory) slows the computer dramatically!
Solution? Have more memory installed!

Approximately how much ‘memory’ is required?
This depends on the operating system.
Windows 98 would run in 64Mb, but was happier in 128Mb or more.
Windows XP needs at least 512Mb, but is much happier with 1Gb (1024Mb) or more.
Windows Vista (and Windows 7) need at least 1Gb (1024Mb), but are much happier with
more.
I can advise you over the phone how to find out the amount of memory in your computer.
